James Amato is vice president of Project Management for Dev-Byrne & Company. James provides oversight and support for all project management initiatives serving as the strategic driver for organizational excellence in the practices of execution management and organizational governance. He is responsible for the Project Management Office which includes all implementation services for Dev-Byrne Client solutions coordinating activities between and across all departments and teams.
Before joining Dev-Byrne, James held numerous, significant communications positions among varying industry verticals. He began his communications career as a Telecom Analyst in a governmental insurance firm over 25 years ago. James has since applied his talents to the fields of engineering, project management and eventually administrative management where he was vice president of Telecommunications & Visual Media at BlackRock, Inc. responsible for all US based and oversees office locations.
James received his BBA degree in Business Communications & Information Systems from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. Never one to overlook the importance of continuous training and staying current, James holds multiple certifications on most of the major communications systems manufacturers and carrier offerings. James is also a certified and practicing Martial Artist in the Chinese Kung Fu discipline, and he employs those techniques to his career methodology.
